About Mentor Me: Leadership Mentoring for High School Students

This online mentorship program aims to provide young, high school aged women with the essential leadership skills they need to engage in a successful, meaningful career.

Students will be given the opportunity to understand themselves, articulate their values and derive the confidence to map out their life goals and ways to achieve them in the process. The initiative addresses the underrepresentation of women in senior roles in Australia. It is designed to support young women to develop their leadership skills, aspire to senior roles in business and the community, and foster a sense of self-belief that will encourage them to aim high.

We believe it’s never too early for young women to invest in themselves and challenge expectations. If you’re brave enough to haver high hopes, now is the time for young women to be courageous enough to plan it. It’s time young women were taught from an early age how to build their confidence and create the right approaches to become the leader they know they can be.

Step by step, take away a personalised, guided, actionable plan. The future ‘you’ will thank you for it.

Colleen Callander | Former Sportsgirl CEO | Entrepreneur | Inspirational Leader | Founder of Mentor Me Women

“As a CEO, my mission was to engage, empower, inspire, lead with kindness, and allow people to bring their best selves to work each day. Now in this next chapter of my life, my mission is the same!” – Colleen Callander

Former Sportsgirl CEO Colleen is a Leader By Design (the title of her newly released book!). In the early years of her career, she looked up to and admired people with titles, levels of authority, and positions of power, labelling them leaders. What she learned over time is that it is not someone’s title, level of authority, or position of power that automatically qualifies them for leadership. In fact, Colleen shares that you don’t even need a title to be a leader. We have the ability to lead every day, with every action, every reaction, every interaction, and every decision.

Colleen has a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record in building brands, creating a winning culture, building an environment that allows people to be inspired and empowered. In this exclusive leadership mentoring experience, she is now sharing not only the past 13 years’ experience as a CEO but the past 30 years of her retail career.

Colleen is an inspiration to women of all generations and aims to encourage women globally to believe in themselves and embrace their superpowers need a title to be a leader. We have the ability to lead every day, with every action, every reaction, every interaction and every decision.
