THE WOMEN IN SPORT SUMMIT RETURNS IN 2024!
In the dynamic world of women’s sports, the landscape continues to evolve with
remarkable strides.
Since our last event in 2020, the progress has been nothing short of extraordinary. In the past three years, we’ve witnessed not only the consolidation of elite leagues like the AFLW, WBBL, and NRLW but also the emergence of new platforms and opportunities that have further elevated women’s sports on the global stage.
As we gear up for the Women in Sport Summit 2024, our focus is not just on celebrating these achievements but also on forging ahead with innovative strategies to sustain and accelerate this growth.
This year, we delve deep into how evolving organisational cultures, expanding audiences, cutting-edge commercialization techniques, grassroots participation, and holistic game development are pivotal in amplifying women’s engagement in sports.
Join industry leaders as they share insights into creating inclusive leadership paths and dismantling barriers in women’s sports. With a blend of celebration and forward-looking discussions, this summit is not just an event, but a catalyst for shaping a more inclusive and dynamic sporting future.
We hope to see you there!

The National Women in Transport initiative aims to showcase, support, and increase the number of Australian women working in transport. One way in which this is done is through the Speaker Bureau, which demonstrates the contributions women make to transport across Australia. Speakers are senior leaders across a range of transport modes and specialties.
This is an initiative of Australia’s infrastructure and transport ministers who agreed to the Women in Transport Initiative at the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ITMM) in May 2021.
The initiative is supported by the Australian Government and Infrastructure Australia and coordinated by the National Transport Commission.
