Empowering Voices, Inspiring Leaders!
Join us for an 8th year of inspiration!
Join us at the Women in Leadership Summit 2024 in Sydney as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of women leaders throughout Australia. This summit is your opportunity to confront and overcome the challenges that persist in today’s workplace. We are dedicated to inspiring and equipping women to lead with confidence, purpose, and authenticity.
The State of Leadership
Women have made significant strides in leadership roles, yet biases and harassment persist.
In Australia, women occupy nearly 50% of entry-level positions but only 22.3% of CEO roles and 35.1% of key management positions. This stark “drop to the top” highlights the need for continued efforts to support women’s advancement in leadership roles.
Let’s also not forget, there are only 12 women CEOs in the ASX top 200…There are currently more men named ‘Andrew’ leading the ASX 200 than there are women!
OUR OBJECTIVE
At this summit, you’ll engage with pioneering leaders, advocates, and trailblazers who will share their experiences and strategies for navigating and excelling in leadership roles.

The National Women in Transport initiative aims to showcase, support, and increase the number of Australian women working in transport. One way in which this is done is through the Speaker Bureau, which demonstrates the contributions women make to transport across Australia. Speakers are senior leaders across a range of transport modes and specialties.
This is an initiative of Australia’s infrastructure and transport ministers who agreed to the Women in Transport Initiative at the Infrastructure and Transport Ministers’ Meeting (ITMM) in May 2021.
The initiative is supported by the Australian Government and Infrastructure Australia and coordinated by the National Transport Commission.
